Common Properties - most objects have the following properties

Booleans are displayed as checkboxes in the Property Editor

  • Draggable boolean - Allow user to move the object in Play mode
  • EditLock boolean - Prevent changes to the object using the Scale, Rotate and Translate tools when in EDIT mode
  • ExcludeObjects boolean - prevent other objects from being placed within the boundaries of this object
  • ExcludeUsers boolean - prevent users from moving into the boundaries of this object
  • ExcludeWhenInvisible boolean - Even if the object is not visible, enforce the exclusions
  • InstanceID UUID - a globally unique ID number for this object
  • LandscapeLock boolean - keep an object at the same hieght above the ground.
  • Material MaterialADS - Set the color propertie
  • Name Symbol - a string that is a name for this object
  • PersistenceLocation String
  • Pickable boolean - Is user allowed to select this object in Play mode
  • Position Vector3f X, Y and Z coordinates in meters for this object
  • RepPos Vector3f - for non-spatial objects, this is the position for a rep (usually a ball) that is shown in EDIT mode.
